Hodge Halsall can act for borrowers and lenders in remortgage transactions. We shall obtain the Title Deeds from the existing lender, check the title and adhere to any new lenders instructions. We will arrange execution of the mortgage deed and obtain draw down of the funds. Once the mortgage monies have been received, we shall repay the existing borrowing and account to you with the net proceeds.
When remortgaging, many people take the opportunity to transfer the property from one party to another. This may be from a sole name to joint names or vice versa.
